2011 SDC Results

The 2011 Student Design Competition was judged at the 161st ASA Meeting in Seattle, Washington, in May 2011. The project involved the design of an addition to a home, including a chamber music salon and outdoor music pavilion. There were 32 entries submitted from a number of different schools. The panel of judges included four professional acoustical consultants, one university educator in acoustics, one student entering post-doctoral work, one theatre consultant, and one architect.

And the winners are…

First Honors ($1250 prize):

Commendations in no particular order ($700 prize):
